I WOULD BE SURPRISED IF I WERE YOU!!!!!

So its been all most 9 whole months since I posted something new....... So I thought that I would...... So today is not only my B-day (WOOHOO) it is also the trial day for the JENA 6 and unless you've lived under a rock for the past 6 months you've heard something about this, but incase you do live under a rock here is a breif discription: Last March-ish at Jena High there was a Nuse hung in the "hanging tree" on the school campus and in retaliation 6 black students beat a white student unconcious. I'm not even sure if he had anything do with it or not. But It has become a media circus.... Rev. Al Sharpton, MLK III, and others have all been in and out of town over the past 3 or 4 months creating an up roar and what not. SO today was one of the first trials and they have had marches, rallies, i even heard that Opra was here!!!! We watched the TODAY show this morning at 7:30 (while eating cake that my husband went and got at like 6:00 this morning before i got up) and there was already like 40,000 in Jena where the usual population is 3,400. I heard that by trial time there was anywhere from 60,000 to 100,000. And not only was all this going on in Jena, Alexandria is the closest "real city" to Jena so it is where all these people are staying and they decided to have some rallies and what not down town.WELL I have no real opinion about this BUT wouldn't you know that this was the day that I HAD to go to down town Alexandria. It was crazy. What should of taken me like 10 mins took 45. People just walking out in front moving cars, parking in the roads, police trying to direct traffic, one guy going the wrong way down a oneway and honking at people going the right way, it was crazy. I hate going downtown anyway so i was way aggeravated by the time i got out of there. Hopefully they are not going to do this for every trial!

In other news: We have started going to the movies every Sunday afternoon when it only cost an arm instead of an arm and a leg. We've done this for the past month or so and some of the best we've seen are Transformers, Borne Ultimatium, and 3:10 to Uma. We just saw 3:10 to Uma, we didn't know anything about it before we went but it was OK. It kinda dragged a time or two, but the story line was good. Borne Ultimatium was the bomb diggity. I loved it. You need to see the first two before you go though. I didn't really care to see the Transformers, Dustin picked it but it was well worth the money. I was surprised. I don't think that we are going this week because our choices are not the best. But I will post more reviews soon.

The Alexandria Zoo

So this afternoon I watched Anglia's son and neice while her mom had surgery and beings that I live in a 4x4 box I needed something for them to do. Well the oh so lovely city of Alexandria has a Zoo (which I had never been to) so I decided that we would go. Whoever decided that this place was a Zoo must of been heavily into drugs. It was someones over grown backyard with a nasty smell. I saw more rats than anything else, it was horrible. And I'm pretty sure that I saw a snake that was not in a cage. And then there was the train that took us through nothing, I mean nothing. Through an open over-grown field, by the highway and then past the back of the oh so lovely maintance building. The ride started at 2 and we were in the car and on the road by 2:17. We had a wonderful time!! But they're gone now and I have to eat.

Ashley who?

I will have to say that me getting a blog was pretty pointless. About as pointless as Ashley's. What is Austin keeping her chained up in the basement? Where did she go? She hasn't had a new post since before the wedding and thats all i'm saying. Well other then that I've just finished up spanish 1 & 2 and have now started a class titled Seminar in Alcoholism. I have to attend an AA meeting and that should be interesting. Well thats about it.

Not Alot To Say
I like other members of my family lead a fairly boring life at this point and time. My week consist of school M-F 9-12, Dance on Mondays and work at LAWL 2 or 3 days. And that is about it. With all the studing that I have to do for SPANISH, I don't have time for my usual adventured filled life. But in 4 short week dance will be over for the summer and I will be done with Spanish and the Fall semester will be my LAST semester. Ok well thats about all I have to say that.
